We had such an amazing, memorable time as winners of the "Meet Tiësto in Vegas" experience staying at the brand-new Resort World, the VIP table at the pool party, and the meet and greet with the legend himself.
Our accommodations at Resort World were super classy. The room was gorgeous, with automatic drapes that opened when you first walked in to reveal a spectacular view of the Vegas strip. It even came with a nice massage gun that came in clutch to treat those sore legs after dancing so much.
But of course, meeting Tiësto was the biggest highlight!
We actually got to hang out with him backstage and just talk for a while which was really cool. When I complimented him on his career's longevity, he joked about how he was 150 years old. Some things I noticed about him was that he radiated positivity and truly loves his work. As an amateur music producer, I was really inspired by that.
At one point we talked about Avicii and mental health, and that's when everything came full circle because I was so lucky to have won by taking action towards Mental Health related causes that I'm passionate about on Propeller. Even if I didn't win it was just genuinely enjoyable and felt good to raise my awareness on a whole variety of issues and not just those I was already knew. Truly, I'm astounded by the genius of Propeller's platform and how effective it is at bridging the gap between engaging the disenfranchised youth who care about the issues but don't always know what to do, to actually getting them to take real, difference-making actions, all while being rewarded. All my friends know about Propeller now, and I'm really glad we have new and innovative ways to organize, create change, and keep propelling the future :)
