Steven K. from Maywood, NJ was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a Trip to Meet Third Eye Blind in Las Vegas" that took place in July 2022. Below is his recap of the experience.
The trip couldn't have been any better! We stayed at the Virgin hotel, which was incredible. This hotel felt more like a resort on an island than a hotel in Las Vegas. The room was so nice and we had a view overlooking the resort with a view of the strip in the distance. The first day we were there we just enjoyed the resort and the amazing pools and restaurants.
The second day was the highlight of the trip! We were invited to come early to watch soundcheck and then meet Third Eye Blind after. Soundcheck was amazing, it was such a surreal experience to see them play a few feet away in an empty venue. After the soundcheck was over we had the chance to meet Stephan and Brad from the band. They couldn't have been nicer and easier to talk to. Stephan told us all about the incredible work that SeaTrees are doing to restore the kelp forests in the ocean. I had no idea the effect it had on carbon emission. You could tell how passionate he was about the cause and he told us it was something he has been passionate about since he was 16 years old. After the sound check and meeting the band was the concert, and they were incredible! We had great seats for the show and the venue was amazing.
I can't thank Propeller and Third Eye Blind enough for this amazing experience that I will never forget! I also can't thank Hannah from Propeller enough for helping with everything throughout the entire experience! All the work propeller does to raise awareness and support so many different causes is incredible and I can't wait to keep supporting!
I also just wanted to say thank you so much again! You were so helpful the entire process and I appreciate it so much!
