Elizabeth M. from Indiana was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a VIP Trip to See Young The Giant at Red Rocks!" that took place in August 2023. Below are some of Elizabeth's highlights from the experience.
Winning the VIP package to see Young The Giant was like the trip of a lifetime. Seeing the mountains for the first time in my life was incredible!
From the first second I saw that I won the trip I was in disbelief. I immediately let a few people know and definitely shed more than a few tears because of the excitement.
The Origins Hotel was so beautiful and unique, I loved seeing all the writing on their chalkboard walls, and even added a little tribute to Young The Giant myself! It was awesome staying at a hotel dedicated to a concert venue and bumping into other Young The Giant fans staying there for the concert and getting to make new friends.
The Red Rocks Amphitheater was so incredible, I've never been in a more breathtaking concert venue. It was well worth the trek up into rocks! The night of the concert was during a super blue moon and seeing that full moon rise over the stage made the evening even more magical.
The VIP pre-show was so great, hearing the music echo off the rocks was so cool. Getting to be that close to the band was so awesome. During the concert we got seats close to the little employee access portion of the seating and got to say hi to several of the members of Young The Giant and Talk, which was so special.
All three bands put on an incredible show, from Talk's croc kicks, to Milky Chance's light shows, and Young The Giant's entire set. Getting to hear songs live that meant so much to me was unbelievable, songs like I Bite were especially meaningful. It was such a special thing to experience and something that I'll remember and cherish for the rest of my life.
