Miguel always wanted to live in New York City - growing up as a fan of Batman and Watchmen, he wanted to walk through the same streets as his comic book heroes. But after he made his dream come true, real life wasn't immediately the experience he imagined. One day, out of desperation to connect with his family, Miguel created a story that illustrated a world of bigger possibilities.

As an animator, Miguel's goal is to help us see a world beyond what we see in our everyday lives. He still hopes that one day he can travel freely, but in the meantime, maybe a little fantasy can help all of us see ourselves a little more clearly, reach further, and guide us toward the future that is attainable for all of us.
