Please note: Bicycle Day is designed to surprise and delight, with performances unfolding in various rooms throughout the exhibit. Given the intimate nature of these spaces, access to each performance cannot be guaranteed for all attendees, ensuring a unique experience for each visitor. Entry to the Bicycle Day event is exclusive to PORTAL members which allows us to offer a truly special experience that's not available to the general public. + What is PORTAL?
PORTAL (aka Partnership of Responsible Trippers Advocating for Legalization) is a psychedelic membership club created by social impact company Propeller with a mission to destigmatize the responsible use of psychedelics. Starting in June 2024, PORTAL will host monthly events in Denver. You'll also catch PORTAL at select Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows, along with other pop ups and digital campaigns with your favorite artists, festivals & more. + What is Bicycle Day?
Bicycle Day, observed every April 19th, commemorates the day in 1943 when Swiss chemist Dr. Albert Hofmann first intentionally experienced the psychedelic effects of LSD after ingesting it and riding his bicycle home from his lab. Celebrated globally, Bicycle Day honors the discovery's impact on understanding consciousness and promotes ongoing research into psychedelics' therapeutic potential. More than that, it's an immersive experience. We've selected exceptional artists to perform, creating a dynamic environment that encourages guests to explore the entire Meow Wolf exhibit, rather than remaining at one stage or in a single room.
