Volunteer F.A.Q.'s

Q: I applied for an event and my status says "approved" does that mean I'm confirmed to volunteer?

A: An "approved" status means your application fee has processed and your application has been submitted for review. If you are selected, you will receive notification via the email address and phone number associated with your account and your status will change to "activated".

Q: When will I hear back if my application has been accepted?

A: Volunteers will usually hear back within 1-3 weeks of the show date if they are selected.

Q: Where am I supposed to meet up with other volunteers the day of the event? What should I be expecting?

A: All of the logistical details for the event you're volunteering at will be e-mailed to you 24-48 hours before the event date. If you think you haven't received an email from us, check your spam filter (sometimes our messages get filtered out of your inbox). If there's nothing in your spam folder, please contact us at volunteers@propeller.la and we'll get back to you with the information that you need.

Q: I went to the App store and couldn't find the Propeller app. Where is it?

A: Our app is a web-based app. No need to download anything from the App store!  You can load it on your phone's browser by logging into your Propeller dashboard. Click the event you'll be volunteering under the heading "My Volunteer Events" and then click "My Event Onboarding App".

Q: I have a ticket to the show already. If I sign up to volunteer, will I get another ticket?

A: No. Currently, tickets are only reserved for volunteers who don't already have their own ticket.

Q: I forgot my ticket. What now?

A: We're sorry, but we only have a set number of tickets each night for volunteers and since you told us you already had one (and were automatically selected) we haven't reserved one for you.

Q: Why do I have to make a deposit if I'm volunteering?

A: Volunteers are required to make a deposit to cover the cost of their ticket to ensure they're committed. There are typically many others who have applied, so if you've been selected, we expect you'll show up and honor your commitment OR let us know you need to cancel. All volunteers who honor the terms of their volunteer commitment will have their deposit refunded within 24-48 hours.

Q: What is my volunteer commitment?

A: Volunteers are expected to show up on time, approach fans to take action using Propeller for the length of their volunteer shift (usually 2-3 hrs), be responsive to all communication from Propeller personnel and respect Propeller's Official Rules and Terms & Conditions.

Q: How can I track my results when I'm volunteering?

A: You can track your results under the "Leaderboard" section of the Event Onboarding App.

Q: I got a bunch of Propeller points for volunteering. What can I do with them?

A: Great question! You can use the points you earn to enter into raffles to win experiences, get merch, concert tickets and other awesome prizes.
