Keisha Washington from Chicago, IL and a friend won the trip to Miami to meet G-Eazy at the end of his 2018 summer tour for supporting G's new Endless Summer Fund.
Following the experience, Propeller caught up with Keisha to learn about her trip and hear what it was like to meet G. Here's what she had to say about it...
Propeller: How did you find out about Propeller and what type of actions did you complete to earn points towards winning this experience?
Keisha: I found out about Propeller at a G-Eazy concert in Chicago when they announced his Endless Summer Fund needing donations. I basically had a propeller party at my house and got at least 20 friends to join and start supporting causes (specifically The Endless Summer Fund). I shared causes through social media. My friends and I also made donations to The Endless Summer Fund.
Propeller: What was the highlight of your time at the show?
Keisha: My highlight of the show was having PIT passes! And being able to see G-Eazy close up and perform an amazing show.
Propeller: How was meeting G-Eazy?
Keisha: Meeting G-Eazy was amazing! I didn't know what to expect and was nervous. G was really nice to everyone and made us all feel comfortable. It was definitely an experience I'll never forget.
Propeller: What was the best part of the trip?
Keisha: The best part of the trip was meeting G-Eazy and finding out how normal and chill he is. I loved the atmosphere of the concert and all the fans.
Propeller: Why is Endless Summer Fund important to you?
Keisha: The Endless Summer Fund works with inner city youth who come from low income families. It gives them housing, resources and hope. Helping young people reach their full potential and strengthening the Bay Area community. I was that kid, growing up from a poor family and am always happy to help others now that I'm an adult. I have worked with inner city youth for almost 6 years and this cause really hit close to home.
Thanks to everyone who participated in supporting The Endless Summer Fund. For more information on ESF visit their profile on Propeller.
