Chris S. from Colorado was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win A Trip to Meet Shakey Graves at Red Rocks and Experience Denver" that took place in June 2023. Below are some of Chris' highlights from the experience.
The experience was truly amazing!
The concert at Red Rocks was awesome, and it was really cool getting to meet Shakey Graves. He was really kind and down to earth, and we got to connect about Austin - he's from there and I lived there for like 10 years. The opening acts were so much fun.
Later in the evening, the weather got bad during the show and there were a couple delays, heavy rain and some hail, but after it all cleared, Shakey came out and put on an amazing show. The show felt much more intimate since many people had left and didn't return after the delays.
Meow Wolf and Pride were also such cool experiences. The art at Meow Wolf was truly mindblowing and hard to put into words. I can't wait to go back! It meant a lot to us getting to experience Pride Fest as we are allies and my wife and many of our friends identify as LGBTQ. HRC is one of the charities we regularly support!
