Arielle F. from New York was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win the Ultimate All Things Go Music Festival Experience" that took place in September 2023. Below are some of Arielle's highlights from the experience.
I kicked off my All Things Go Festival adventure on the first day, arriving to the venue when the gates opened. From the moment I walked in, it was a whirlwind of incredible music, energetic crowds, and infectious vibes. The first major act to grace the stage was Suki Waterhouse, and she did something that sent my inner Twilight fan into a frenzy – she gave a shoutout to her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. It was a moment that took me right back to the iconic vampire love story, and I couldn't help but smile.
Before I knew it, it was time for a backstage rendezvous with Lizzy, who, along with Fletcher, was set to deliver her last performance of the year. As I ventured backstage, I was in for a delightful surprise – I had the chance to chat with Fletcher! Meeting her spontaneously while she was backstage, waiting to meet Lizzy, was one of the highlights of the weekend. We had a genuine conversation, and she was as down-to-earth as she is on stage.
Meeting Lizzy, the moment I'd been eagerly awaiting, came next. Our conversation flowed effortlessly, and Lizzy's warmth and openness made her feel like a friend by the end of our chat. It was a reminder of how music has the power to connect people on a deeply personal level.
With our hearts still racing from our backstage adventure, we enjoyed the rest of the night, unable to wipe the smiles off our faces. We had a unique insider's perspective as we'd talked about Lizzy's setlist when we met her, adding an extra layer of excitement as we watched her perform on stage.
The next day, fueled by the adrenaline from the previous night, we woke up early to explore the city of Washington, D.C. We marveled at the historical sites and enjoyed great food. As the festival continued, we were treated to performances by remarkable artists like Muna, boygenius, and the enchanting Lana Del Rey.
I would like to express my gratitude to Propeller and The Ally Coalition for making this weekend possible. It was not just a music festival but an opportunity to take action, support important causes, and make a difference. I'm forever grateful for the best weekend of my life.
