Lorraine S. from Texas was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a Trip To See Christina Aguilera in Vegas" that took place in August 2024. Below are some of Lorraine's highlights from the experience.
Thank you Propeller for the opportunity to be part of something bigger in our communities. I joined many years ago and have seen such great campaigns, petitions and fundraisers for achieving goals that continue to better the world. The bonus to all of these are the rewards. Thank you so much for these beautiful and amazing experiences you offer!
This trip was so perfect for me and my guest because we are working moms and had a fantastic getaway. As soon as we arrived we saw the cute hotel and the bars, restaurants and pools it has to offer. After arriving, we enjoyed eating at one of the restaurants there in the hotel. Our room was NICE, I love the modern art esthetic feel to it and it was perfect for us.
The next day we had a late breakfast at the hotel and took the day to go relax at the pool and have some drinks. By the way, their pools are great, they have four total and they also had food and a band at one pool, music and bars at every other pool and great service as well.
After the pool, we started we getting all dolled up to go to the fancy Voltaire. We were able to use ride shares to travel back and forth to the Venetian Hotel. After the show, we enjoyed a night of dancing at the theatre with the DJ continuing to play until it closed, before continuing the night at a bar at Venetian. I was on such a high from the show!
To end the trip, we did sleep in and rest before heading to the airport. It was nice to be so close to the airport because travel time was quick and easy. Coming back I was still on a high!
Christina Aguilera has been one of my top favorite artists for 22 years! She has the most amazing voice and I feel that she will go down in history as one of the top icons like Etta, Aretha and Whitney. This experience meant so much to me because I have wanted to see her in concert for so long and unfortunately never had the chance to do so. I've been either too young, working a lot or having kids and missed out. So the fact that I got to see her at her last show in Vegas in such an INTIMATE theatre at Voltaire and in such a close seat to the stage is so special to me. I'll never forget it!
Not only that, I also got to see a side to her that I didn't know about he — she's good to her fans, and is grateful for her team's time and her ability to perform which is so humbling to hear.
The BEST part of the show, the HIGHLIGHT, was when she came down the walkway into the audience and I was right next to her! Oh man, that was so awesome! Now, the only thing left on my bucket list with her is to actually meet her! Someday hopefully I will.
Again thank you all at Propeller, I've had such wonderful experiences and have met wonderful people as well. I have great memories because of these experiences and it's all from doing good deeds. You guys are all amazing people and please keep doing what you all do.
