At Operation New Hope, we believe that we are all better than our worst mistake, worst day, or worst decision. We believe in people's ability to learn from their errors and transform their lives through commitment and hard work. For over 20 years, we have worked to build a stronger community by creating opportunities for people with a criminal history to realize second chances by reconnecting to the workforce and their families.
We provide comprehensive support, training, and job placement to people with a criminal record to break the cycle of incarceration and poverty. We deliver our Ready4Release (pre-release) services to 20 facilities in Florida and our Ready4Work (post-release) program in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Tampa, Florida. We motivate participants to become productive, responsible citizens saving taxpayers millions of dollars by avoiding repeated cost of incarceration and lost tax revenue. With Florida having the 3rd largest incarcerated population, Operation New Hope is poised to expand our Ready4Release and Ready4Work programs to additional locations around the state to address the critical needs of the thousands of people returning every month from Florida's jails and prisons.
