About onePULSE Foundation

On June 12, 2016, at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, the world was rocked by the worst terrorist attack in the United Since since 9/11. It is still the deadliest act of violence against the LGBTQIA+ community in U.S. history. In the wake of such tragedy, we had two choices: we could choose anger and division, or we could choose love and hope. Our global community chose the latter, and it was out of this love and hope that the onePULSE Foundation was born, ensuring that the lives taken, saved, and affected in the tragedy would be remembered forever.

In 2021, President Biden designated the site of Pulse nightclub- not the Pulse Interim Memorial- a national memorial . Our mission is to create and support a memorial that opens hearts, a museum that opens minds, educational programs that open eyes, and legacy scholarships that open doors. Together, we will not let hate win.
