We need your help. Please donate now.

J/P HRO has begun emergency response in the southwest cities of Les Cayes and Jeremie. We have the first mobile medical clinic operating in the area and are already seeing hundreds of patients every day. In addition, our heavy machinery teams have cleared debris from critical roads that block access for further assistance.

Our team is now planning to do full assessments and expect programming in Water, Sanitation, and Shelter, cholera prevention, and treatment in the area. None of this is possible without your support.

Please also remember that this hurricane is not the real crisis. The real emergencies here are poverty, deforestation and rapid urbanization which amplify the damage done during natural disasters like Hurricane Matthew. This is the work J/P HRO will continue to do day after day, even after the cameras turn elsewhere and the emergency response organizations clear out. We need your help to operate sustainably. Please donate now.
