The numbers are staggering. One in five adults in the U.S. (46.6 million) experience some sort of mental illness each year. With one in 25 adults experiencing a serious mental illness that substantially interferes with or limits major life activities.
But the numbers don't tell the full story. These people are our friends, our family, our neighbors. They are you and me.
There's a mental health crisis happening in our country right now. And it's time to get serious about how we address mental health issues. We think that starts with making it safe for people to have an open conversation about their challenges.
Propeller is proud to work with organizations like To Write Love on Her Arms, The Campaign to Change Direction, and Music Minds Matter that are working to end the stigma around mental illness and provide support for those who need it.
We're encouraging everyone to do something in support of Mental Health Month. Mental health is a serious issue, but we've made it fun to get involved.
One winner and a friend will be flown to Nashville, head to Bonnaroo with VIP passes, catch performances from an amazing lineup of artists including Childish Gambino, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Cardi B, The National, ODESZA, and more, and get pit access to 2 main stage shows of their choice.
Please, if you or someone you know is struggling, we encourage you to reach out for help. For those living in the United States, we invite you to use To Write Love on her Arms' FIND HELP Tool to locate local, affordable resources simply by entering your zip code and the level of care you're seeking.
Thanks for everything you do and for supporting such an important cause. Let's make this the most successful Mental Health Month yet.
Propeller inspires activism and helps build movements for change.
